Winter weddings in Chicago pose a number of dilemmas, the most difficult being the total lack of light after 4PM. Julie & Mike had their wedding ceremony at 3:30PM. By the time we were on the trolley it was pretty much pitch black outside and in the Chicago ‘burbs, there aren’t a lot of places to go with tons of light. You can always use a flash, but it’s kind of fun to see what can be done using available light. Here’s something we came up with in downtown Mt. Prospect that required braving a cold & windy night, but produced a really cool group shot.
